Today I am exploring more of the watercolors in this compact travel palette. What better subject than to sketch Urban Sketchers sketching at an Urban Sketchers KC event in the historic 18th and Vine district? The Negro Baseball League museum is on one side of this place, the KC Jazz Museum on the other, with this wonderful space in between for mingling and painting. So far, this travel palette is very convenient. I'm thinking of leaving this one in the car with a little vodka and water in the brushpen......it is winter, after all. I sure don't want to have to water on ice to thaw! Painting number 2199 in 2199 days.
