Caboose in the Woods

With a quick scout around, I decided on this caboose for my first painting in Cherryville!  As I sketched, a couple of other artists rolled in, and I finished with a splash of watercolor.  It always feels great to land and get a quick paint done before venturing off!  Painting number 2338 in 2338 days.

Caboose!

There are so many cool things to paint at the Belton train yard!  This caboose is pretty weathered, which only increases it's interest to me.  I have sketched out my lines with the Monteverde Monza fountain pen and then filled the color in with my WatercolorConfections half pan sets.  This little ATC sized painting will soon be available at the Belton Art Gallery.  Painting number 2125 in 2125 days.
