Yoga Bliss Festival

The very best part of a yoga retreat weekend is the total immersion in all things yoga.  This year, I've been drawn to the deep restorative and sound bath classes, so I've filled my schedule with them plus a little Myo Yin Yan.  Each is a special shared experience that lingers long after the session ends. I'm looking forward to all tomorrow's classes have to offer. Now Showing at the Yoga Bliss Festival at Harmonie Verein in Augusta, where you can come take a class and leave restored! Mount Pleasant Spring

 

What a lovely day to paint Mount Pleasant Winery! The weather was perfect, and I chose to paint a small one in ink and watercolor.  I had already drawn a similar scene in pen and ink, deciding at the last minute not to add the color. I always say, "If in doubt - don't."  So, I just had to finish my original vision on this one.  Every painting is a lesson, and I think I was simply meant to paint both!  Come see this one in person at the pop-up gallery at Harmonie Verein in the morning! Tonight I had the pleasure of painting "An Evening of Kirtan Bliss" while at the Yoga Bliss Festival in Augusta! The music performed by Ananda Das was so beautiful on a higher level.  To paint such a place filled with such music was bliss!  I can't believe there are only two days of class left!  Painting number 4595 in 4595 days. 

 

Drum Circle

 

I have never painted a Drum Circle before - what an amazing experience during the Yoga Bliss Festival in Augusta, Missouri!  The sounds and energy seemed to vibrate right thru me as I painted from a corner.  There are so many interesting sessions in this festival!  Who knows what tomorrow will bring?  Painting number 5121 in 5121 days.
