Alpacaes

Painting these sweet alpacas just makes me want to take them home!  They make sweet noises to each other, and come to check up on me every so often. It was super fun to spend the morning with them, learning their forms and manners.  Their temperament is so docile, too! I think our chickens and horses need some aloaca friends!!  Painting number 4874 in 4874 days.

Old Barns in Defiance

SOLD

What a beautiful morning for painting on this alpaca farm in Defiance! This scene grabbed me right away, and after first painting in pen and ink, I returned to paint this before our turn in time.  I ran over, but didn't think it mattered too much.  Since I won last night's event, I can no longer compete for the Sponsor Award.  The pressyre is of abs i can paint when abs whatever i want. Come see this one in person at the Harmonie Verein in Augusta!  Painting number 5027 in 5027.

Morning at the Alpaca Farm

This alpaca farm in Defiance is a beautiful, sprawling place with so many painting subjects!  The landscape is lush, and those alpacas modeled for most of my paint time along the winding fence!  Our gracious hosts had breakfast and drinks at the ready, making for a very comfortable paint out.  We could have spent all week here painting, but alas, we only had a few hours.  I can't wait to return another time to paint!  Painting number 3769 in 3769 days, and this painting has a new home with the owners.
