acrylic on panel, 5x7 purchase here Tonight finds me painting this vintage Christmas scene with my Christmas cards in mind! I am drawn to all things nostalgic, so I am using sepia tones. I mix this shade with ivory black and red oxide, and I can bend it warm or cool, accordingly. I am using the white of the panel for my lights, so I am saving the whites as I would with graphite or watercolor. I am using a wet q-tip to remove the acrylic, if I get it where I don't want it. I am having so much fun - I think I'll start another! Painting number 1422 in 1422 days. |
