It has been years since I have painted the Augusta Bottoms! It was such a pleasure to return again today and capture the beauty - even in the rain! I found shelter at the baseball field with this delightful view, and started laying in darkest darks and lightest lights, then comparing all transitions to those values. The rain lightened up as I was finishing with a little burst of sunshine at the horizon! It was so fun to visit with artists on site and enjoy the banter between friends! Painting number 3027 in 3027 days.
