Oh how I love painting these vintage places! This lodge dates back to 1920 - and is full of that hundred year old character and charm! Never one to waste a minute, I started sketching this as we artists awaited judging from within. Visiting and painting, this came together quickly with the fresh aura of the place itself. Mom and I will be staying here when I return to Steelville - and I can't wait for an opportunity to paint the expansive lodge!
