Three Bison

Bison are so interesting to study and draw!  I've only had the opportunity a couple of times, so this is a real treat!  The best part of going to a preserve is the chance to get up close and personal with these large animals.  Here is a miniature ink and watercolor in ATC size, the best size for a tiny painting window.  Painting number 2624 in 2624 days.

    1. Thanks!! It is fun to sketch and paint in miniature - and faster than a larger size!

  3. Love this piece. When I lived in N.Idaho my friend, who had a ranch in MT, raised buffalo. I was able to see and touch them often. They are huge and incredible animals.

    1. Thanks! Wow!! That is awesome! There is a buffalo farm near me, but they are rarely as close as the ones we saw in Kentucky. Love how majestic they are!
