Sunny Day Pumpkins
It's the time of year when I reach for the watercolor, hot wax and rice paper again, and pumpkins are perfect for autumn. Just today, the first cold winds began to blow. In the 50s most of the day, we may drop to the 40s overnight. It's been SO warm, that I'm having a little trouble acclimating to the temperature shift. The weather actually suits my mood, as I've been missing my Dad all day long. Today marks 8 years since he passed, and so many memories haunt my thoughts. I've been unable to stay on any task today, so I've immersed myself in painting, where thoughts can run free as my intuition paints. It's okay not to be okay, and better days are always ahead. Painting number 5055 in 5055 days.
