I love listening to our resident Great Horned Owl at night, but he goes silent when I step outside. INKTOBER day 4. I'm having fun with pen and ink on this handmade paper, which has been dyed. It is a little resistant to ink at first, then swells when saturated with water. It quickly goes back down to shape as it dries. When wet, it accepts more ink, and the ink spreads at will before drying. Each time I use it, I learn a bit more about the paper. I love exploring what this paper can do with ink.
