Allium
I planted these alliums years ago, after painting in the very first STEMS plein air event at the Overland Park Arboretum. They captured my attention and I painted them, the first time of many. Since then, I have added varieties, but these purple ones are the first to bloom. I love their large round blooms on tall stems, very striking in the garden. So, with ink and watercolor, I commit them to paper, this time at night. There seems to never be enough time for all I cram into a day! Painting number 2681 in 2681 days.
