99 Elm

The cool autumn weather was refreshing today after last week's heat!  Celebrating the new season with paint as I work on this beautiful estate in Parkville.  The skies have been overcast all day which means the color is saturated and so rich to paint.  I start first with a drawing to be sure of all those lines and angles.  Using that sketch, I begin with paint to mark the masses.  As I work, I check and recheck those angles, tweaking right to the very end.  I love the stone and the cool way the greens mingle with ask those shades!  Painting number 1723 in 1723 days.
